Vertina Jones Crain, is a Navy veteran, single mother, and serial plant destroyer. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a focus in Child Development at Brandman University in Silverdale, WA. Vertina is currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Houston Christian University.
She aims to stimulate therapeutic alliances that foster greater self-awareness, independence, and the capacity to navigate life’s challenges effectively. Vertina recharges herself by running, painting, traveling, and soul-filled Sundays with her family.
Vertina believes, “Instead of yearning for a problem-free life, we should rejoice that trouble can highlight our awareness of God’s presence. In the darkness of adversity, we can see more clearly the radiance of His face”.
