Nafeesah Ojo, LPC Associate

Pipkin

Nafeesah Ojo is passionate about the field of counseling and believes that it is important for individuals to work through their past in order to find it in themselves to overcome their obstacles in life. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Prairie View A&M University, and obtained her master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Grand Canyon University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, she hopes to help her clients understand the things that have influenced their development and use them as an advantage rather than a disadvantage.

She is also dedicated to helping her clients feel empowered in achieving their mental health goals.

After working as an educator for five years, she developed a deep desire and passion for helping others talk through challenges and gain the emotional support they need. Her lifetime goal is to help clients work through their life transitions to have healthy and functional relationships.

Nafeesah uses a person-centered approach and brings compassion and empathy into her sessions to ensure her clients feel safe and comfortable being vulnerable. She has much experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.

Outside of work, Nafeesah loves spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys shopping, traveling, reading and cooking new recipes for the people she loves.
